This Eid Al Fitr is unlike any other the UAE has experienced but that has not stopped Dubai’s businesses and attractions from throwing open their doors and offering some genuinely remarkable deals to residents who have had an unusually difficult few weeks. From free theme park tickets to complimentary dining memberships and discounted staycations, here is the complete guide to what is available for free or heavily discounted this Eid weekend.

Free Theme Park Tickets

Aquaventure World and the Lost World Aquarium at Atlantis The Palm are providing complimentary tickets until March 22, bookable online 24 to 48 hours in advance and capped at four tickets per transaction. This is a family experience that normally costs several hundred dirhams per person and the complimentary offer represents one of the most generous gestures of the Eid season. Book online before heading out as availability is limited and walk-in access is not guaranteed.

Free Entertainer Membership

The UAE voucher platform The Entertainer has given out 100,000 free six-month memberships to UAE residents, covering dining, leisure, wellness and hotel deals. The memberships are typically buy-one-get-one-free across hundreds of venues across the UAE. Entertainer founder Donna Benton said the company wanted to give something back to a community that has supported it for more than 25 years. The memberships are valid until September 15 and can be activated through the Entertainer app.

Free Camel Hugs

In the Dubai desert near Al Qudra, The Camel Farm is offering free camel hugs with every general admission or guided feeding tour ticket until March 22. It is exactly the kind of unexpected joy that this Eid needs. The farm provides a genuinely different experience from the usual mall-and-restaurant Eid routine and the desert setting is beautiful during the cooler spring weather.

Discounted Hotel Staycations

Hotels across Dubai have been slashing prices in response to the decline in international tourism caused by the regional conflict. If you have been thinking about a staycation in a hotel you would not normally be able to afford, this Eid weekend represents an exceptional window of opportunity. Many five-star hotels in areas including Downtown Dubai, Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina are offering rates that are significantly below their normal levels. Check directly with the hotel rather than booking through third-party platforms to access the best rates.
